::Worth a visit, there's an explanation on English in every section, it is a museum biography of a successful surgeon. A lot of amazing painting and interesting history. Easy access by public transportation from the central of city. There is also a beautiful garden. Don't forget to check around the area to find a a hundred years old tree planted by Pirogov himself.

::Really interesting museum with beautiful park. I advise to take full ticket (pharmacy and house). You can spend there several hours looking at old books, paints, surgical instruments and even humans' limbs. Don't hesitate to ask about its history; they can tell you a lot of different interesting facts about Pirogoff and his house.
