::Very friendly and safe vibe from staff. Very home-y atmosphere. You will need some Russian or Ukrainian to speak with staff though.

::The hostel its self is clean, and above average. What make the hostel excellent is how friendly and cheerful the old Ukrainian couple that run it are. You really feel like your staying with relatives, she just made me food a few time. She will just talk Russian at you, and throw in hand motions and the occasional English word and gets her point across whether she is telling you directions, or how to use their very confusing Russian microwave.
