::Beautiful specimen of late-Soviet futurist architecture. Walking into Hotel Salut feels like walking into the 1980s. Despite the time warp atmosphere, the hotel is generally in good condition. The rooms are comfortably fitted with new beds and modern bathrooms. Only the non-crucial parts of the hotel like the lifts and the breakfast room could benefit from renovation. If you stay in Salut, make sure you book one of the "Superior Rooms" as these have fantastic views over the Kiev Pechersk Monastery complex. Front desk staff friendly. The breakfast buffet is very poor, so steer clear of it! Very good location.

::interesting architecture of the hotel (round building), newly refurbished rooms, comfortable beds, big bathroom with bathtub and bidet. Good enough breakfast and very good food in the restaurant. Also well positioned, near caves monasteries. Very recommended!
