Great place
Entrance: 50 UAH
No detailed arabic neither English information on the items ( just you must use ur imagination)
So without a guide ( worthless) , but the old ladies who works there are so polite.

Made ukraine more obvious for me 😍
This a nice museum that everyone should stop by if they are in Kiev. You can see the historical changes in the art in Ukraine. Even though there are English descriptions for most of the rooms, there is not any for the top floor which tells the latest situation in Ukraine.
Really good museum. Exhibit styles are a bit old fashioned. Don't go in winter, they have no heating. We made its to the second floor before having to leave prematurely. Bone numbing cold. Otherwise some interesting and worthwhile displays.
I leave most Ukrainian museums feeling disappointed. This one was different. It is a mix of ancient and contemporary history with, this being Ukraine, some art thrown in as well. Some sections of the museum have English translations, others do not. Sections that did helped me understand what was being displayed. Many of the displays are of a modest size but contain interesting memorabilia that I had not seen elsewhere. Overall, I was glad to have visited.
