  Stunning. Absolutely unique climate, totally different than in all the other L'viv churches. My visit was additionally coloured by a priest chanting somewhere behind a door. Very beautiful sacred place with a completely inconspicuous entrance. You can also enter the church's backstreet, but from the Virmen'ska street, not Krakivska street.

  Most *unfriendly* church for the international tourists. They welcome only their own people which I found quite disappointing for this friendly-popular- international- tourist- city. Please don’t take me wrong, except this church , Lviv is an absolutely lovely city full filled with friendly faces. This is my 6th time visited this church since I appreciate the beauty of the arts inside of the church. Every time entered church with full respects of locals’ culture and dress code. But always, every time there was someone (not working in the church) come to my face tried to talk with me in Russian or Ukrainian which I don’t understand, from the sense of the conversation-they want me to go out. During each visit, different of ‘ their-people‘ either tried to correct my hand posture ( my hands and arms were just naturally straight down on two sides’ of my legs-as all other people’s standing posture. But they want me only, cross my 2 hands in front my belt) while I was standing normally and enjoying the arts from the ceiling; or group of their people staring at my eyes - ‘protesting’ me to go out . The church was clearly open for all tourist visit at the time and wasn’t in the church service session. If ‘your people’ have special rules for the foreign visitors, please put sign out with clear instructions in English, not only clear instruction in English for the donation. So both ‘your people’ and tourist visitors could enjoy the visit.

  Well-hidden bit still visible,this church is very impressive. The paintings on the walls of the 20th century remind of the art nouveau style and are so unusual for a place like that. The atmosphere is calm and unique. There is no official fee, though you are encouraged to donate money for the restoration of the place. Must-visit if you are in Lviv.

  The most interesting church in Lviv. With one of the best paintings, by Jan Rosen, Polish painter before 2WW. Absolutely must see.
