  I just love the colors and the environment. It looks very attractive and relaxing. Beautiful flowers around too.

  Famous cathedral. It is nice inside but obviously Christian orthodox rules apply for women to cover their heads and to wear skirts (skirts preferred, scarves must)

  It is the mother cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kiev Patriarchy. The design was executed in neo-Byzantine style initially by the architects I. Schtrom, P. Sparro, R. Bemhardt, K. Mayevsky, V. Nikolayev. The final version of the design belongs to Alexander Beretti.

  Beautiful cathedral, and free to enter. Candles are reasonably priced. Great place to visit.

  This cathedral is my absolute favourite in Kyiv. Particularly because it has both awe-inspiring paintings on the walls and ceilings, and incredibly peaceful atmosphere. I have witnessed multiple festivities to have been held there and think it greatly unites local community.
